Great fishing boat

I wanted something seaworthy to upgrade from my old inflatable that was 12 ft long with 18 inch tubes. I bought the INMAR 470 and really love it. I coupled it with a 2012 Tohatsu 20 HP long shaft with electric start, manual tiller, and power tilt. I added two pedestal seats to the aluminum floor with flush mount bell mounts, rod holders, and a fishfinder. I haul it on a small 14 ft galvanized trailer which it fits on perfectly and is very easy to handle.
I have fished it several times already in both salt and freshwater and it has performed great. The thick material makes a difference. This boat is very sturdy. The 20 inch tubes and transom provide great comfort and safety on the water. I feel that this boat is a great value and I would recommend it to anyone. I am looking forward to getting it out every chance I get.

Great boat

Purchased this boat back in 2011 and it has been serving me well up to this day. The material is very durable and has taken quite a bit of abuse over the years. I've been running mine with a 15 HP Mercury which has plenty of enough power to push 3 adults and gear. I ended up removing the plastic water bailers on the transom as they were very fragile. Instead I now use 2 rubber plugs per drain hole, one on the inside and one on the outside. Even though the metal rings fitted all around the boat are a minor detail, they have been extremely useful for strapping down the gear in rough conditions. I keep this boat inflated year round as it keeps the hypertex in excellent shape. I would not recommend rolling up this or any other inflatable boat. Transport is done via a cheap, flat utility trailer which I have covered up with outdoor carpeting.
